Gallery woes

As you can see, my galleries are not really looking the best, but I cant seem to figure out the CSS to fix that. Im using the nextgen gallery plugin, so If anybody has had this issue before, please comment and tell mew how to fix it.
Edit: I changed the theme and it fixed it 
funny how on the first page the smileys are inside borders.
I like the current theme.
Is your gallery software part of your blog, or an external application
Ikonia, Im using wordpress from the ubuntu hardy repos, with the theme: street life 1.0 by Fred – from the wordpress site.
oh, and the gallery is nextgen gallery. I used it in my blog before I moved on to using flickr.
right, I’ll look at nextgen see if I can get/do better intergration with wordpress than gallery2
